Sri Mookambika Temple at Machohalli stands as a Bengaluru upa-kshetraof the ancient Kollur shrine consecrated by Adi Shankaracharya. Nestled beside the Machohalli Forest Gate on Magadi Main Road, the temple offers city devotees a place of quiet retreat and unbroken ritual.
The Moola Vigraha of the Devi is worshipped as Adi Parashakti — the confluence of Mahasaraswathi, Mahalakshmi and Mahakali. Daily rites follow the traditional Vaidika Agamaobserved at the parent shrine.
